About Eva
Eva Cassini was born and bred under the bright blue skies of Western Australia. Raised in Perth, completing her BA in Design, she worked for many years in the visual arts both in the UK and Europe. Now living and working in Dunsborough in the beautiful south-west of WA, Eva is now a full time artist as well as raising her young family.
Eva Cassini is represented by Commonage Gallery, Western Australia.
Taking inspiration from nature, life and colour, Eva wants to capture feeling, space, and emotion in her work. Primarily working with acrylics, she aims for movement, dynamic compositions and flowing layers, often incorporating oils, fluid mediums and spontaneous gestural marks. She paints our luminous local beachscapes and sculptural native flowers, interpreting them in a fresh and modern way that is lyrical and full of movement and joy.
